question about saw 3. spoilers.

when Jeff got to the black guy locked in the twisting crucifix machine, the tape player said that this guy was the one who killed his son.

but at the end after Jigsaw had his throat slit, the tape player mentioned 'im the one who killed your son' (referring to Jigsaw) or something along those lines.

So if Jigsaw killed Jeff's son, what did the black guy do? nothing? why didnt the judge mention that the black guy isnt the one who killed his son?

or did i miss interpret it?

yes. i cant remember exactly what jigsaw said on the tape at the end, but i thought he meant he was responsible for the death of jeffs' son. i cant even remember if he specifically said 'son'. he may have said 'child'. so he may have just been referring to jeff's daughter who is now locked up in some room

Now your making me wonder... i can't rember either. You sound correct, so it makes the movie rather questioning.
