I'll just repeat this again. Historically, when has the middle east not been a hot topic of conversation? I agree with you. There are other interesting things to discuss such as the conflict in Chechnya,Ethiopia,Kashmir, etc. as well as foreign political leaders. However, who would be interested in a thread about Victor Yushchenko? Face it, most topics arise from stories on American news outlets.
