Ecdysterone
Hey all, I'm new to the forums here, although I have used bb.com for a few years for supplement/training information. I've seen alot of good, well informed responses to alot of threads here so I thought it couldn't hurt to put a question out there.
I've used NO products, trib, creatine, ZMA and I've gotten great results from these. I'm 20 years old, 5'9" 200 lbs, I've never had my BF% taken, but im sure I'm somewhere in the 8-10% range. I'm putting up great weight in comparison to my peers in college, but I feel like the wall is finally approaching. So I decided to do some research and maybe try some new products out.
I've been doing alot of reading lately on ecdysterone, and I have to admit, I've never been this excited to try a new supplement before. Out of the choices here I decided to go with Scifit's version of ecdysterone, mostly because it seemed like the best deal. I am a bit confused on the dose/time of dose that is recommended for ecdysterone. More precisely is it something that should be taken immediately before workout and after, or simply the r.d. in the morning and night. I'd appreciate any feedback concerning ecdysterone or other similar products. Sorry about the book of text here and thanks in advance!

I would go with E-Bol. It is the one with the most positive user feedback.

I'd either try megadosing Ecdysten, or just go with E-Bol. Check out the logs on E-Bol before you make any decisions. I wouldn't trust SciFit. Many argue they aren't meeting their label claims, but who knows. Better to be safe than sorry.

E-bol, I'm on day 17 a little over half way into it and am experiencing AWESOME strength gains and noticable muscle fullness.

The only studies I am aware of on anabolism and ecdysterone involve extracts of Rhaponticum Carthamoides, which is actually in few ecdy products, ThermoLife's E-BOL and Ecdysten being two of those. Most other products including I believe the SciFit product use extracts of Cyanotis Vaga, and while I am unaware of why the concensus seems to be that 135 mg/day of RC extract yields results equal to or greater than 1.5 g/day of CV extract.

haha guys, well thanks for the posts, I definitely feel like I should have made this post before I put the order through. I guess I'll have to give scifit a go and perhaps go with Ebol when I get some more money. I sure hope I didn't waste my money.....
Or is it a big enough difference that I should make a return and go with ebol right away?

I rep for ThermoLife so take my opinion for what it is. I can't tell which extract SciFit uses, but I can take an educated guess and say CV. At a dosing of 4-5 caps a day (I don't care what the dosage recommendations say that is what you're going to need to see anything) you get about a 30 day supply at $45 for the 120 caps. You get 180 caps of E-BOL, properly dosed at 6 caps/day @ 80mg/cap ecdy from RC extract plus adaptogens and potent antioxidants for increased recovery ability. You can find E-BOL for $36 elsewhere, in respect for BB.com I cannot tell you where, and then call up BB.com and I hear they have a price match program. I'd say E-BOL is actually the economical route.

Ive only used anagen and liked it, EBOL has some good logs, never tried it so cant comment on its effectiveness.

Str8flexed and a few others ran a trial of ecdy over on Avant/M&M forum. I'm a bit hazy on the details but Layne seemed to like the stuff.

I have been using e-bol for a month and love it  !!!!
I have seen:
strength increases
loss of body fat while maintaining lbm
increased thirst(which is a plus for me so i can keep the water intake high)
muscle fullness and pumps(upon waking up and on off days)
Overall it is a great product

I guess that Ebol is the general consensus for ecdysterone products; thank you all for putting timely responses!
now I propose another question: for all you guys who are actively using ebol/ecdysterone, what other supplements are you using? I see that keeping my monthly supplement totals under $100 is going to become a problem.
I've got trib and ZMA for about $15 combined, I always use Optimum Whey protein which is $25, then I'm actively searching for a good creatine/NO combination for around $30. I'm just curious to see what other combinations are out there. For creatine I'm giving Animal Pump a try, I have used Trac, but before that I always used regular CM powder ($16) and Arginine or AAKG powder ($25$) so it seemed like a no-brainer to go with one that combined the two products (and I like the idea of trying out Creatine ethyl ester). thanks again in advance, you guys are awesome!

But really all you need is the basics: whey, multi, fish oil, creatine, and some eaa's/bcaa's wouldnt hurt
