foot position on squats? Can i stand like this
I was told to make my feet parallel, kinda like this | |
Except i have a hard time doing barbell squats becasue of lack of flexiabilty and when i go like that, i can do 315 halfway down, but can barely get 135 down evne parrallel much less ATG. It sjust because i suck at them i guess lol... i do them good on smith though, but i kept wanting to do barbell squats, so.. i moved my feet to this position, \ / . But i still had trouble going down, but it was somewhat easier for me to balance. I then tried my feet like this almost __ __ almost horizontal with bar, and like that i can go down all the way, ATG!! and my form is good too, like iactually havwe balance that way. But someone told me i shouldnt benver do them like that and feet should be 45 degree angle at the MOST, is this true, is there any harm that will come from this foot postion, or will it not work the muscle as well or something.
