Bump, looks like you could use some cardio as well, but the main issue you have is a lack of side/probably rear delts.

At the moment, I want size and strength over definition and looks.
I figure I'll do a long bulk to 270lbs and then cut to 250lbs rather than bulking and cutting a few times. Is that a good idea?

Not really a good idea.
Doing a few cut cycles will help you dial in your diet and learn how your body cuts most efficiently.
Plus, you have high bodyfat. The upside is that you are big and have a solid base.
I say cut, but cut for real. Shoot for single-digit (7-8%) bodyfat. You'd look amazing.

I already know how my body responds to cutting. Once went from 210 to 165; I'll sacn in a few old photos next time go to work. So, I'm confident that I've got that down pat and I figure it's more efficient to go on a long bulk and disregard looks, and then go on a long cut.
Also, I'm not sure where you get "high-body fat" from, it's not like I've got a pot belly or anything. I can still get a glimpse of my abs.

BTW, so long as my face isn't fat, my belly doesn't hang, and I don't lose too much speed. I'm happy to continue bulking.

hmm well you look pretty big in the pic, but a different pose might show it better, or maybe its just me. well im not gonna say cut, but slimming down some might be a good idea. yeah i know mass and power, but having too much body fat isnt good for you. you will see yourself as big but how big are you really? i guess what im saying is that you dont need to cut to be ripped, just trim down some.
btw ... i didnt think i twas posing oil i just thought you were really sweety ...

You've got some good size on you J11STIN. Delts look like they need to be brought up. Forget cutting, you obviously know what you want for your own body, so just listen to yourself. Great job! Please post more pics when you're done bulking and again during your cut phase.

Gotta love the members who immediately say "you need to cut", "you're fat", "miss piggy, blah, blah, blah". He didn't say he wanted to cut, he wants power, size, and strength. Sure, to accomplish that you're gonna get a little fat but I really don't think J11STIN gives a flying crap. Anyways......J11STIN, you are massive and thick. Keep eating and lifting heavy to obtain your goals. Build a huge base, and IF YOU EVER WANT TO CUT, you will be incredible.

Exactly, only 20% or so of all men can bench press their own bodyweight, and I think it's even less than that.

no offense but, if u are 230 now, and kinda fat (from what we can see), and u want to be 270 by jan-feb, thats pretty impractical unless u want to gain even more fat. i would say u are about 20% bf or so from what i can see. if i were u, if u want to continue bulking, set a realistic goal of about 5-10lbs of lean mass and not fat. eat 6000+ cals of clean food utilizing the protein/carb protein/fat method and stay away from sugars other than PWO.

Well, from the age of 16 I've gone from 120 to 160, 190, 210, and now 230, all without any problems. So, I don't see why 270 isn't within range.
BTW, I get 8000+ calories, mostly clean.

Thanks. Maybe later on. Last time I check it was 130/80, or something like that.
Also, as for the benchpress. I've only just started doing it in the last month would you believe! I never had a spotter, so I just never bothered, instead doing heavy dumbell, cable, and machine flys, etc. they also only had 220lbs in weight plates, so I figured no point doing that if I'm gonna be stuck there. I just recently brought a weightlifting cage, so that enables me the benchpresses and squats, so on, that I've been missing out on.
