500g of oats
100g flaked almonds
100g chopped peacans
100g sunflower or pumpkin seeds
100g sesame seeds
100g wheat germ
100g shreded coconut
8 tablespoons of flax seed oil
12 tablespoons of honey
100g of raisins
100g dried blueberries or cranberries
Heat the oil and honey and pour over the dry ingredients in a bowl. Mix well then place on a baking sheet and cook for 20 mins until the nuts are browned.
Remove the baking tray from the oven, add the dried fruit and leave to cool.
Break the mixture up once cooled and store in an airtight container. It will last upto 2 weeks.
Im gonna try this, on its own or with milk like cereal.
