This weekend im attending 2 parties 1. my grandma's Bday which were having Lasagna and cake and 2 a party for my moms friends baby which will have deli sandwhiches and cake...
well today i restricted calories as so tommorow if i go overboard i will just be making up what i didnt get today...right?
and sunday i will be eating the deli sandhwiches among other goodies and i know ill feel guilty....i only weigh 130 but im still conscious about what i put in my body which is good but bad in a case where i cant enjoy rare treats like this.

you can look at it this way, from a health point of view, i believe it is important to expose yourself to some of the unhealthy things so our body knows what to do with them. Its like if we only ate perfectly healthy from the time we were born, and then one day there was nothing else to eat in the world but mcdonalds, then i believe we would probably be the first to get sick because of it.
Personally, I have been on a low-carb, organic clean diet for less than a week, and i am so craving a McChicken, or even hot dogs right now, so I know dieters feel, I am just itching for a reason to cheat. I know that I would probably feel guilty if I did, but thanks giving is coming up for most of us, and I dont know about you, but I am taking full advantage of that cheating day.

I used to have the same problem at parties and such, but just think of it as a time to be celebrating and having a good time. It would be better for the people around you if you didn't look too concerned with what you were putting in your mouth, and i'm sure you'll feel better if you think "hey this is doesn't happen all the time and certainly won't make a big difference to anything."

Sigh...
Again your 130lbs, your 16, your body is trying to grow... you said yourself in your other thread that your are stuffing your face to get maintanance calories in. Take this weekend as a good example of how to get some food in your mouth and some mass on your bones.

Load up on food. You are 16 and 130 lbs you should want to gain the weight. (unless you are a little thick...) Your body needs to grow and since you are working out....pig out kid. Enjoy yourself, just make sure you hit the gym sat, sun, or mon. Preferably Sat and Monday. And hug your grandmother. You love her.
A 100 cal breakfast? That isn't even a half cup of Oats in water.

You weigh 130 pounds. At your age, I weighed 200+, ate whatever the hell I wanted 24x7 and just had a good time. Why do so many people on these boards act like they are 2 weeks out from a contest when freakin' eating!

Exactly, you will regret all the restrictions you place on yourself now when your yound and can afford to be a bit more flexible on the nutrition side of things. You weigh 130lbs and your on a bodybuilding forum id be eating 24 7 if i was you, lean body mass is definity what you need. Cheese cake aint going to give it to you but clean foods and hard work will

Continuous deprivation is your problem here. You crave the stuff, yet you don't allow yourself to eat it. When you DO cave in and eat some, you lose all self-control and binge. That's one of the most common dietary disasters out there. You will benefit greatly if you allow yourself a small amount of junk on a regular basis. Then you won't be pushed whether you have it or not. One of my clients had a habit before she came to me of not eating chocolate. However, every so often she'd give in and buy a bar of chocolate. The problem was that she'd go and buy 5 more after the first one because she lost all sense of restraint. When I designed her diet, I factored in a couple of squares of chocolate on Sundays. She hasn't binged since.
Food is fuel and you should not be linking it to emotions (guilt, self-hatred, etc). If you want to eat some junk, do, and move on. Put it in context. Suppose you need 3,000 calories a day to maintain. That's 21,000 calories a week. Suppose you go out and have a big mac or something. That a few hundred calories. Big deal. On the larger scale of things, it's not going to make that much of a difference - assuming you're not doing it on a very regular basis (i.e. a few times a week).

What i generally do in a situation like this is eat a meal before hand. Espically around xmas time. Have a regular meal a few hours before you go to the party, so then a) you won't be nearly as hungry and go overboard and b)you can plan the party meal into your daily meal allowance. The foods you mentioned aren't a complete diaster (well mabye the cake), it's not like you're eating deepfired choclate bars wrapped in bacon. Just be sensible.

It won't kill you to eat badly (and this doesn't sound that ba anyway) once and a while. You arne't going to get grossly overweight because you ate too much one weekend.
Come on, be realistic... just have fun and eat your heart out at the party. As lnog as you come back to a good diet, your body will be fine.

Ahh the concept of preloading cals dosnt quite work how we would like it. Its called taste specific satiaety, its why you can eat a whole heap of healthy food yet still crave/find room for a chocolate bar.

cool, never heard of that, sounds like it makes sense. Having a meal before hand seems to do the trick for me.

I suppose it at least takes away pure hunger which would definitly help to overcome the need to eat what should not be touched

Yup. Listen to this guy.
When I was cutting, I would eat ~400 kcal/day under my maintainence. Every Friday afterwork, I'd cook a ****load of pasta, and make a sauce with 1/2 lb of ground beef.
I probably eat close to 1000 kcals at a sitting and it had dam near NO impact on my cutting, I still lost 1.5 lbs/week, whether I cheated that meal or not.

Sometimes, let yourself have a treat. It's not only a physical refeed, but an emotional one as well. After denying yourself somethign for so long, and (gatuitously) exercising willpower, why not indulge a little bit? You can use the extra calories on your frame
