Samir was a great bodybuilder.
Remember reading late 80's muscle mags and interviews with him and he was truly his biggest fan also.

Your post can be interpreted several ways. If you are suggesting he doesn't warrant any recognition beyond winning the Mr. Olympia, then I disagree. Samir had an amazing physique in 83 - in my opinion better than Arnold or Frank Zane. However, you rarely hear his name in bodybuilding discussions. If you are suggesting he deserves more recognition than he gets, I wholeheartedly agree.
