Smile Starting out new

Im sure some of you remember my threads from a long time ago, and i know had some pointless conversations in the past but i am ready to give it all i got and start really working out hard and actually getting somewhere.

The problem that i have with workingout or bodybuilding is that i have a hard time staying motivated or have a hard time focusing on the task at hand. I had always been the skinny kid until highschool, after i stopped getting taller i started getting wider. It wasnt too bad of a problem for a while. i tried working out at school and i did accomplish some gains but most of it was fat. between senior year and college, i went from 175lbs to 215lbs. once college started i didnt have the time or mindset to get in shape. A year later i got my weight down to 185 due to a job i had which was very physically demanding. I tried again to keep the activity up but when i switched jobs, my weight went back up again. this time i really let go and weighed in at 225, in just 5 months time.

During the last summer i managed to drop it down to 200, i am just asking what i can do to drop the fat and gain as much muscle as possible. im not entirely familiar with any routines or suppliments. i know i had asked before in other threads, this time i have access to gym with almost any kind of equipment. If anyone could give me any pointers i would be very greatfull.

first of figure out why you want to do it. There are hundreds of answers as to how to gain muscle and lose weight but without a strong why the how won't matter, which is probably why you have trouble staying motivated your why isn't strong enough.

I personally would begin with riptoes routine. I think it's great for noobs because it emphasises compound lifts, which works every muscle group in the body and ensures that you're working with intensity.

As far as a diet I would go with a keto. The reason being you don't really have to worry about whether or not you can eat certain foods, you pretty much know what has carbs and what doesn't. Also it's good because you get a lot of protein in your diet, which will help with building muscle.

Start with 20 minutes of cardio 3 times a week and stay at 65% of your Max Heart Rate. Take it up 5 minutes each day until you reach 45 minutes.

This is what I would do but everyone is different. Good Luck bro, make sure to read the boards, they keep me focused and if you have any questions make sure to ask.
