Idiotic Coaches...
I hate my head football coach, he makes bad coaching decisions, and mis-positions players IMO...
I.E, Last year I played DT and got a few sacks and did pretty good over-all(we don't keep stats). Now he wants me to play Guard...
I put up with this for the first two practises, but I've decided I am going to tell him what's what and return to my old spot on the Defense, I've got the defense coahc behind me and if he doesn't cut this crap I would be more than happy to let the defense thru a few times in our first game...
This clown also has our best linebacker playing QB, and another LB playing Fullback. How did this get get to be head coach? Ugh
I mean, how can he possible want me at Guard? I am adimitadly a lousy blocker, but I can bullrush like a Champ...
So, no real point to this thread, but go ahead and join in! Share all your stories about bad coaches with me

hey man, if your not getting what you want out of football then quit. Who do you play football for? The coaches? The team? No, you play for yourself. If you didnt play for yourself and didnt get anything out of it there would no point.
So either man up and quit, or suck it up.

My coach is a football genius why?
Becouse he went for it on 4th in the first quater On 4th and 1 he threw the ball long and he" (Name) Will be wide open for a touch down"
It was true he threw it and It went for a touchdown.
I was in shock Our coach just did one of the Riskyist moves I've ever seen and it worked.
He has not failed on 4th down so far 9/9 since I've been here

I'm concerned because the car is out of control and he has got his hands on the wheel!
He is setting the team up for disaster, its bad enough that we didn't win any games last year, if he keep s****ing with things its going to be even worse for us...
Anyway, I told him what was what and now I'm playing DE...

from what i have read, you sound like an egotistical crybaby that brings his team down and holds them back. i don't really see anything wrong with what the coach has done. theres nothing wrong with qb's and fb's playing backer if they can play there. it happens here all the time. if you have a ****ty guy that only plays qb, and a damn good backer that is decent at QB, why would you hold the team back? if you dont like whats going on then quit.

My team is horrible.... I refuse to play for it again when the season is over
When interviewed by a newspaper my coach called the seniors from last year " A bunch of tough guys who thought they could play football, they won't be hard to replace". I thought that was an odd statement for him to make consitering our Defensive coach is from last year's graduating class. Just be happy your team has some sense of how to win my coach is a complete Idiot he refuses to change out of Cover D so the other team just keeps running the ball for 5 yards everytime haha.

You can think that way if you like, but I think that the main point I failed to communicate was that the players he has switched are not actually GOOD in their "new" positions!
If they we kicking ass they wouldn't complain, the only justifiable change is really the LB to FB, because he is actually a good ball runner and is a very physical player.
But LB at Qb? I mean come on, the guy is constantly trying to run the ball even when a passing play is called, he takes a quick look at the receivers and if they aren't wide open....
Like everyone else, hopefully even the coaches, I want to win. What bothers me is that the coach ignores the fact that he has players who are better at certain positions and actually ENJOY playing them. But instead of using the talent at his fingertips, he makes ludicrous changes to a team that wasn’t that great to begin with.
I know that some of you may think that because the team wasn’t that great, switching things up is the right idea. I would agree with this conclusion but for that fact that he is messing with the few things that the team actually had going for it. The Defence has always been strong, and I understand him taking some good defensive players to bolster the offence, but he probably should have considered all the changes he wanted to make before we were a week away from our first game(which is tomorrow btw).
These guys practise all summer to play there favoured positions, and IMO, to throw them into foreign territory so close to the season is unfair both to the players themselves and the team as a whole.

i see what you mean with the LB to QB that **** doesnt fly, but most FBs are LBs play both sides of the ball. Same thing with lineman play DT and Guard when i played our whole line played both ways.

yeah the replacements might suck, but how are the guys who were replaced? id take a semi crappy qb over a completely ****ty qb any day. trying to make something happen isn't a bad thing. at least he has the initiative to try and accomplish something instead of taking a sack or throwing it away. have you ever thought that maybe he is taking off because he has a ****ty oline (you) and doesn't have enough time to look for an open reciever before being flushed from the pocket?
bottom line: if you dont like whats going on then quit, or sack up and tell the coach what you think.

The situation is kind fo complicated...
Last year was the first year our school had a football program since 1951. So all of our key players last year were really inexperinced. They weren't bad they had just never played before. And most of them graduated so that is why we are in such dire straits.
Our TailBack last year was freaking amazing though, he is by far the most spectacular human-being I have ever had the pleasure to meet.
The QB played alright in our first game the other day, he is starting to understand that he has to act like a QB and not a like superman. But another glaring problem showed its face, The Tailback needs to learn how to follow his blocks...
And I don't play on offense, I have finally settled in to my favoured position of DE. The O Line is a problem though, their fitness is so low that they can't hold up for the entire game, which is why I wouldn't have put them on the team...
They do miss blocks and that is of course a big problem, but I have seen the qb take a look at the recievers, roll out straigt into a LB and if he had had just waited a few more seconds our TE was wide open for a medium gain...

you cant judge a qb on what would have happened had he stayed in the pocket. "if he would have stayed for 2 more seconds the TE would have been open." its a total bull**** statement. the reason the TE was open was because the backer left his drop to cover the running qb.
bottom line if you dont like whats going on, either sack the **** up and deal with it, or transfer/quit. plain and simple. sitting here bitching about it will not do jack **** for your situation.
