Do you ever get depressed from what you can't eat?
Well maybe not literally depressed...
Being an ecto I grew up eating any and everything I wanted. Now that I'm quite serious with my dieting it just gets to me that to keep the body you work for, you have to live without the best tasting stuff...well forever.
I severely miss:
bread and butter
mayo on burgers, tuna, sandwiches, etc..
cake
cookies
brownies
hotdogs
candybars
fries
the feeling of being full (cutting sucks!!)
soda
fruit juice
ranch dressing
It's not even like I just started eating healthy, but it just hit me that I really hate the thought of never being able to eat these items other than once in a blue moon.
End rant (as I take a mouth full of my ever so tasty oats with splenda)
Chris

I don't miss any of those foods, although if I felt like eating them I would. Moderation is the key.
Btw... whats wrong with drinking fruit juice? Get the 100% natural kind without the HFCS in it, and drink it with some whey for your PWO shake.

First of all no! If it bothers me and I really want something, I have it.
Especially if you're an ecto, then you can probably get away with a lot more. Besides bread and mayo? I even eat those on a cutting diet! You have to learn to balance you're life. It's not just about bodybuilding, you know.

We all miss some foods we "can't" have sometimes. But truly, I found that after a while of eating healthy I honestly don't miss a lot of things that are crap..........and I used to love. I used to love fried foods as much as the next guy, but when a see a commercial on TV for KFC, Church's chicken, or any of the fast food seafood places...I think "Bleck!" The same with Wendy's, McD's, BK etc... Seriously, after time you will likely feel the same way..........to at least some extent.
The ironic part is, that when you cheat and eat some of this stuff YOUR BODY will revolt to some degree. You'll get the runs, feel crumby etc.. Some of you guys know what I'm talkin' about

Well I thought I was an ecto...I was VERY skinny my whole life, started lifting about 4 yrs ago which put me at a respectable size but in the last year or two my metabolism must have dropped off the face of the earth because I've been able to put on 20lbs in the last 2 years....unfortunately not all of it has been muscle. Right now I cannot seem to get my waistline down to where it should be. Being an ecto, you'd think it wouldn't be that hard.
Never had to cut before so this is my first time.
Currently cutting: 22-2500 cals/day 225/225/60 give or take...never more than 65g fat. All I eat [in 6 meals per day] is oats, skim milk, whey, chicken, lean beef, lean sirloin, 1/2 serving of MM, cashews, LG brown rice, broccoli. Cut the carbs off at 6-7pm. Lift hard 3-4 days a week, do cardio 5 days (mostly HIIT, but will throw in a low intensity day in there as well), but the damn stomach won't improve!!!
I'll admit I haven't trained my abs in years (don't ask). So maybe if I start training the abs heavy 3x's a week and start doing vacuums then the stomach will be held in place where it should be.
oh yeah..
6'2"
200lbs
~15-18% (Dont have calipers)
36" pants are tight
Look great ...er normal in cloths but the stomach doesn't match the lean other body parts when shirtless.
Any suggestions?

Try switching up your diet. Instead of eating lower fat, bump that up and do a keto diet, or maybe the cut diet.

I have been eating clean for 5 months now and I feel the exact opposite. Those foods that you have listed absolutely repulse me. I feel terrible even just reading that list.

I personally am not strict with my diet at all. I have 2 protien shakes, and the rest of my meals are healthy when they can be. If I am at a friend's house, and they get pizza, I eat the pizza. I am hardcore ecto, so I can. That might just be lack of dedication, but i want to enjoy life, and hopefully still get bigger. My main goal is getting enough protien to grow, and I eat health food if I am at home, but if I am out with friends, I won't starve myself instead of eating some taco bell.
