If you have one or the other use whichever you have. If you have both I would use muscle milk before bed. Once that runs out you can use the regular whey protein with milk and some kind of fat i.e. fish oil or almonds before bed as fats will slow down the protein absorbtion.
What I do I usually mix up a scoop and a half of whey with a serving of cottage cheese and 2 fish oil pills. That should keep you good to go.
