Why do taboo subjects get closed on this forum?
Every time a discussion comes up on drugs, or anything else taboo, the thread gets closed.
I am just curious as to why we can't have a discussion on the war on drugs in America... Someone posted a very informative video earlier and I wanted to add to the discussion, but the topic was closed!! All the person did was post the video, no one was advocating drug use or recomending it.. so just what is the problem? Is it illegal to talk about drugs now???
I'm not trying to rant, but I just want to know why we can't discuss things like this in a civilized way?

Well if you read the rules (which you agreed that you did signing up) you should know the talking about drugs in againt the rules and threads will be locked/deleted.
Yes I don't understand too why we can't talk about it but I guess BB.com doesn't want to attract that type of audience. If you want to talk about drugs go over to yahooka.

u neg me for asking a legitimate question and say i'm f***ing whining? very mature of you. i couldn't give a s*** about whether there are drugs discussed on the forum or not, i was just wondering what the possible reasoning was beyond allowing steroid discussion and not other drugs.
because steroids are related to bodybuilding? how much of the misc. section is related to bodybuilding? the whole idea of this section is that it's EVERYTHING ELSE. hence, if it's everything else, a legitimate drug discussion (esp. one that isn't advocating use etc.) would fall into that category. if u can't handle an adult discussion..well, then, that's just sad.

Stupid post...all drugs can be related to bodybuilding. Drugs physicaly effect your body...therefore they all relate to bodybuilding whether it be for good or bad is irrelevant. I don't think this should be a place to discuss drugs just to talk about drugs, but if you have a question related to how drugs might affect your bbing/health in negative ways it should be ok. Like lots of people post questions about whether or not smoking weed/drinking alcohol ect. will hurt their gains. I learned that you can use a vaporizer to greatly reduce the amount of smoke/tar ect. you take in when smoking from this forum, I think that's good information that's relevant to bbing and those threads still get closed.

i agree, we are all more or less students of physiology here and whilst some people are more informed than others, i think we should be able to talk freely about the subject so long as people dont give obiously wrong information and try to pass it off as legitimate.
If the moderators do indeed delete or lock threads which are informative and truthful, whether or not it is in agreeance with their opinions, then it is clearly censorship and undemocratic.
