How do I get such a hair cut?

I think this hair cut is pretty cool.

Now the problem is how do I get this slight kink at the end of the hair?
You see it on the left side pretty well, the hair doesn't hang down totally straight but it has this slight kink which makes it look more harmonic. How do I get this? Because my hair is totally straight and this looks crappy.

I also ask myself wether you better use gel or hair spray for such a hair cut to get this stringy look. Any hair dressers here which can give me some hints?

Take a picture of it to whoever cuts your hair. Supercuts ain't going to do it for you, you'll need to go to a salon or something.

why does it look gay? show me which hair cuts you think look good

and what is supercuts? a cutting machine? i cut my own hair with a hair cutter. it works pretty well. at first it looks crappy but I use so much gel that you don't realize that I cut my own hair.

I gel the whole hair back.

To get that style you need to have your hair around that length on top, once you already go in to get your haircut, so let your hair grow out to that length if its not already, then just go and ask for like a 2 on the sides. And tell them not to cut much if anything off on top. Then you would just gel the top part and part it down the middle :x

The reason the hair goes up a little on the left side is cause theres not as much gel there, and he probably doesn't thave truely straight hair.

thanks. actually I already know how you get it. what i meant is how you get this slight kink. but maybe you either have it or you don't. I don't have it.

Sometimes my hair won't go down on the sides like that if I sleep wrong. Try sleeping on your side with your head against a pillow and have some of the hair going the wrong direction. That would work.

You'l only get it depending on how wavy your hair is, this guys hair is fairly wavy. It all comes down to the shape of the shaft of your hair. Generally speaking northern europeans tend to have hair with an oval shaft, central and south african descendants tend to have a very flat shaft hence the tight curls, asians tend to have a circular shaft which is why they find it difficult to hold a perm.
