bros before hos
I always been a person to go by this. However lately I been getting into conflicts because of this idea. I been talking to this girl for years(lets call her K), but we always been just friends cause she's always been in the middle of relationships and so have I.
So we been just like in that friend zone cause we had no other choice cause everytime i'm single and K has a boyfriend and everytime K's single I have a girlfriend. K broke up with her boyfriend about 2 months ago and one of my best friends (we'll call him J) started liking her. I always liked K a little so it was hard to stay away from her so J could move in on her.
K has been telling me all about how they been hangin out and stuff, but she don't like him. AT ALL, that's what's so sad about it, J is like in love with her, but K told me she wants me. So the first thing I told her is I don't wanna get involved cause J wants you. I felt I was doin the right thing. But it's been goin on for a week that she's been telling me she likes me and not him and J has been telling me he likes her alot and ask me when he should ask her out.
Just today I asked her if she wanted to watch a movie at her house tonight, me, K, J and one of her girl friends, so I could talk to the girl friend and my friend house. Well she told me she don't want to, unless it can just be me and her. I told her I can't cause I already told J about it. She wanted me to lie to J and tell him i'm not gonna do anything tonight and go watch a movie with her. I told her no way jose i'm not gonna ditch my friend like that, bros before hos.
She got pissed off cause she didn't get the saying and thought I called her a ho. And she told me, "IF YOU LIKED ME YOU WOULD GO TO THE MOVIES WITH ME.." I always liked her at least a little bit so it was tempting, but I said no and hung up on her. And she called back and threatned to tell J that I liked her and she liked me and she don't like him. I just hung up on her again. Do ya'll think it's right what I done, sticking by my friend and not ditching him for the girl?? K has always telling me "WHY DO YOU STICK BY THAT BROS BEFORE HOS SAYING, NONE OF YOUR FRIENDS EVER DO IT, THEY WOULD GO OUT WITH ME IN A HEARTBEAT" , and I told her well i'm not them. I'm thinking of just ditching the girl.
