Smile 1st day of lifting

Hey fellas im looking to build myself im currently 160lbs and looking to be around 180-200, i just started lifting a few days ago and heres a pic of me after my 1st workout, how long does it generally take to gain mass?

you should read the nutrition section of the boards, this will help you a lot!! and the exercise section, but the most you need to know about that is just not to overtrain and how to use propper form so you dont hurt yourself.

I would consider good gains in BB to be about .5lbs of lean body mass per week. Some people on the board shoot for 1lb of lean body mass per week or a little above. But you really need to be on top of things to get this (and have good genetics).

I would say a realistic time to get between 180 and 200 lbs for you is about year. It sounds like a long time right now, but it is very easy to become addicted to working out and eating healthy =)

BTW, you should take some QUALITY pictures for before shots so you can compare them to the after photos. like a front double bi pose, a back double bi pose, a few leg shots, and maybe a shot of what you think your most muscular pose is. This are very nice to look back on when you have reached your goals!! The one you have right now isnt horrible, but it could be much much better. Take a look around in the pictures forum and you will see what im talking about.
