Unless you are planning to compete or are working for some sport I would suggest that you don't bother to bulk. Keep a bit above maintenance but if you just want to look good it is easier for you to just stay lean and build muscle more slowly. You're never going to get big regardless, and you'll do better with the boys (or girls) if you are lean. I'm not calling you fat, I honestly don't remember what your pic was like (american attention span). I'm just making a general statement.
Bulking will cause problems like loose skin (occasionally) and stretch marks (particularly around your breasts). Neither of which is very pretty to look at. I know I hate mine =/

Yeah but you WERE bulking, yes? That is what I was refering to.
How did you get so red btw? You're a chick, AKA a god on the internet.

you obviously didn't read her post. bulking will not necessarily cause stretch marks. stretch marks vary from person to person depending on the elasticity of their skin which is determined by genetics.

Actually keep bulkin and cuttin, as we all know..more muscle = more fat burned. build that muscle because once your done cutting, all that new muscle will look much more attractive then just an ordinary skinny girl.

You can't get "too big" by lifting weights or playing sports. As women, we can lift as much as we want and as heavy as we want and don't have to worry about getting "too big" -- we don't have enough testosterone (and have too much estrogen) to get HUGE naturally.

Exactly. Also, why did you bulk? I mean nothing wrong with bulking, and do what you please... if done correctly it can help you gain good strength... just curious since most girls like to lose weight... not gain it.

Yes she has a special "scribbly face" filter...
If you're working out for sports go for bulking. It really does help with strength =)

Fish- Trust me, I know there's no way I could get a big as a man (not that I would want to though!!) because of our hormones and stuff so I know this.
Nate- I was very sick and dropped about 40 pounds very quickly due to illness. My lowest was 107 lbs on a 5'6 frame...scary lookin haha.
Alan- I hid my face becuase I wasn't prett upped yet haha And I did it with paint

Okay, well, in your post you said "I don't want to get too big" - which to me implied that you thought you could get "too big" by lifting heavy and that simply isn't true or an issue for us as women.

^^ No, I just meant as in to much fat on me because it would hinder my performance in my sports. So I'll prolly cut then after this cut, I'll do mini bulks and cuts.

In any case, I think you have a decent looking arm. It will look much better once you've finished the bulking and cutting. Keep up the good work and keep lifting hard!
