WFA - Quinton vs. Lindland, Bas vs. Kimo, Mayhem vs. Lodune
Anyone else getting this PPV?
There's so much talk about UFC but this card is every bit as good as any of the UFC cards IMO. Quinton vs. Lindland (for the new fans Quinton worked over Chuck Liddell pretty good when the met in the ring) and Lindland is a stud from Randy Coutures camp.
Pick: Quinton via TKO
We also get to see the return of Bas as he fights Kimo. Kimo isn't that great, but he'll be a test for Bas. How awesome is it gonna be to see Bas back in action?
Pick: Bas via stoppage
On top of that we get Mayhem Miller vs. Lodune Sincaid. Mayhem is a personal favorite. I'm not sure what the story is about him not being in the UFC but they missed an opportunity to have the most charismatic guy other than maybe Genki Sudo on their payroll. He lost to George St. Pierre not some scrub. St. Pierre MIGHT be the best fighter in that weight class, if not he's easily 2nd behind Hughes.
Pick: Mayhem via submission

Why not? He's funny as f***. And he fights well. He did steal bucket head idea from Genki Sudo, but other than that...

Never heard of Lyoto. I do know a Ryoto Machida that beat Franklin and got a lucky decision against Penn.

I love the hooters Blog:
Damn. I hate hooters. I really try to like it. I try. I like bewbies. I like wings. I like tv's. I have an appreciation for wooden stools, and don't mind theme restaraunts even with middle of the road food, even if the have nascar hoods glued to the walls, but hooters just irks me. It irks me to the point where I use the word irk, which is a word that I don't even really know what it means exactly, I just used context clues. I just know hooters irks me off.
It has to be something about the mix of blaze orange, fake blonde, and stripper perfume that makes me want to tear someones stockings off, put them over my head and go "everybody be cool! This is a robbery!" in an english accent. Well maybe not that, but just cause a scene. Like maybe push back the stools and start windmilling to the 80's jams they pump in there.
To be fair, it may be the guys I go in there with. Crazy Ryan, for example, prefers to oogle the waitresses in between shovels of his chicken salad. Then lay the mack down with ceasar dressing gracing his lips. They eat it up. Even when he spits a blob of chicken 3 inches above their areola. Okay that didn't happened, yet.
I don't really like to give girls that are begging for attention well, attention. Its no fun. They have all the power. The boobs are so magical that we must stop eating and pray to them when ever they stop by to ask "would you like sommore ice tea?" or write "Kelly" on my napkin. I don't quite understand why girls want to work at a place that objectifies them so much. I bet the training manual says "Remember: Here at hooters, you are your titties!" Now don't get me wrong, I'm all for the objectification of women, but damn, not while I'm eating! Boners and burgers don't mix. I guess I just want to do my oogling without the irking. I always feel like I should be slipping my tip into their obnoxiously orange shorts. Oh yeah, I almost forgot about those damn shorts. It doesn't matter how hot a girls body is, those shorts make her ass look absolutely horrid. How they accomplish this feat, I have no clue, but JLo could put those hooters shorts on and through smoke and mirrors, or Computer generated imaging, she would be made to look as if she had the ass of a 62 year old asian woman. Slap some ugly leg warmers and wack ass tennis shoes from 1990 and you've got yourself an outfit that would make the queer eye guys stand head to head to shoot themselves with one bullet, to be super efficent and make cleanup a snap.

Lyoto is the nickname, Ryoto is the real first name.
From Sherdog:
Name Ryoto Machida
Nick Name Lyoto
Record 7 - 0 - 0 (Win - Loss - Draw)
Wins 3 (T)KOs (42.86%)
1 Submissions (14.29%)
3 Decisions (42.86%)
Association Office Inoki
Height 6'1 (185cm)
Weight 205lbs (93kg)
Style Karate
Country Brazil
... most refer to him as Lyoto. Just as most people refer to "Shogun" as Shogun not Mauricio.

Is WFA fought in a cage or ring, I'm assuming cage as it's the "in thing" for new promotions. Lidland bores me to tears and I assume he'll grind out some sort of decision.

It's a circular cage.
