So a few days ago when there was a party at some dude's place, I saw a diamond-like looking bracelet. So I stole it, and turns out it WAS a real diamond bracelet, worth about $3,500. So there I am all happy. Yesterday evening, I took a stroll in the park, and I was wearing it. I saw down on the bench, and I took it off and put it right next to me so I could rub my wrist because it was kind of scratching against my forearm. Then all of a sudden, this kid that looks about 7-8 years old just swipes it, and I'm like, "Hey!", and he goes, "Finders keepers, losers weepers!" and I'm just speechless. So I try to run after him, and he runs over to his mom

and she's looking at me like I'm a child molestor, and yells at me "What do you think you're doing to my son?!" and I calmly try to explain to her that he has my bracelet. She says "Well you shouldn't have been laying it around where people can take it so easily", and I tell her that it's worth $3,500 and I would really like it back. She then proceeds to tell me, "Well prove that it's yours then, else we'll be on our way." Then I remember that this wasn't really mine, and I couldn't say anything for a second. Before I know it, she she grabs her son and goes on to walk to her car, and I'm just like, "****!" and I didn't know what to do. But it was too late anyway, and I didn't get her license plate down or anything. ****, I hate karma. Finders keepers losers weepers my ass. When's the last time someone said that? 1992?

Something doesn't sound right. You let some kid take something fro yuo and you couldn't get it back? comeon now...What if that 3k bracelet really was yours? you'd just let him take it? Yu should have told that "mom" that its yours because he TOOK it from you.

Your story doesn't add up. If the mom told you to prove it was yours, all you have to say is "I don't have to prove ****, i was sitting on the bench and your bastard son grabbed my bracelet"...but I guess your slow mind couldn't say anything in time. You got owned by an 8 year old. Congrats.

And IF this is true, and IF your age is correct, what kind of 29 year old steals a bracelet? Your life must be pretty meaningless. I'll pray for you.
