Why I know a clone would have a soul

Okay, it's late as ****, and I should be sleeping since I have to do PT assesments from 12-3, but here's my experience.

I used to take GBL(GHB analog) to sleep. I'm one of those people who have a serious natural tolerance to anything so I had to take 2-4 shots to fall asleep. The last time I took it, I slept for 45 minutes, but it felt like 12 hours. I had this dream. One day I need to make a movie about this **** because it would put Total Recall to shame, the dream is that wacked.

Anyway, I feel asleep(went into a 45 minute coma most likely) and it was like I was in one of those transport things from The Fly. I saw these scientists building a body that was Arnold Schwartzeneggerish(kind of like in the 5th Element when they were building Milo Jobovich). I woke up in this body and the first thing they said to me was "You're clone #6773." That was my name, 6773. In this dream, which seemed to last for 12 hours, I kept running into other clones and having deja vu. I was talking to this other clone in the gym and I was like remember when we did this(some dude I knew from college, but he didn't look like the dude, but I knew it was him). And he was like yeah, I remember that, and we we're bull****ting about these good times we had, but we never met before that day. It happened with quite a few clones, and I was having flashbacks of things I did with these people. There was also this senator(looked like the dude from that futuristic Keanu Reeves movie and that Korn video) who was saying that clones had no rights because they didn't have souls. He was always petting this weird alein pet. The future was really dark, it was like G-d didn't even exist, and everyone had these weird alein pets that were kind of slimey like slugs but muscular like pit bulls and had a face like my mom's fat cat, even me and my clone roommate had 2 of them. Anyway, throughout this whole dream, I'm trying to figure out who I am, that eternal question of "Who am I?" as in who am I really deep inside, like my soul. Anyway, near the end of dream, I finally realized who I was, I'm like I'm (my Hebrew name), and I realized I had a soul, and I remembered about G-d. Then the dream got even weirder. I was eating chicken wings with my clone roommate and our "pets" kept wanting the bones, they'd almost bite my hand off, and I'd throw them the bone. I was getting pissed because they weren't behaving and my roommate was like just throw them the bone. I said no, they're stupid animals and they need to learn discipline. Then the pet telepathically communicated with me. I'm not going to say what it said because that would be the climax of the whole movie and I can't have you all stealing my idea, but basically it freaked the **** out of me. Its last words were, "Throw me the bone." I did, and then I woke up.

I felt like I was on crank for the next 4 days(not that I've ever done crank), I was freaked out and hyper as hell, I was also extremely intellectual and could talk and move fast as hell, I couldn't hold down solid food(even protein shakes) for 2 days, and I slept about an hour a day for the next 4 days. I think I had GHB psychosis.

Anyway, clones would have souls. G-d could either create a new soul or maybe he would insert a soul of someone who had died before their time and was not good enough to go to heaven, but not bad enough to go to hell. For any messianic thinkers out there, a virgin could give birth to a clone. Also, about those space pets, if anybody knows what a yetzer is, the space pets were called haras.

Anyway, if you know any Hollywood guys who need a screenplay or if Arnold needs a badass movie that will rival Running Man and Total Recall, they should contact me. It could star Roland Kickinger as a young 6773 and Arnold as an old 6773.

of course, something without a soul cant live.. I dont think much people know what soul is.. SOUL is inside u, he is the one who thinks, the one who gets hungry, the one who sees the world throug two windows(=eyes) .. The soul is trapped in the body.

YOU is not the body, YOU is the energy-like thing in the body that can think and learn. Actually humans are far more than just "material". Human is something very different than flesh and bones

I totally agree. But I still think it is wrong to clone. It is going to make us (human race) think we are gods. It is going to give us a big head and lead to government corruption.

Umm. Nevermind the government has been corupt since 1776. But I still love this country..

Interesting. Cool story. But I personally don't even know if I believe that their is a such thing as the "soul."

Actually the intellect thinks and can be dissociated from the soul(it's been said that those who misuse their intellect will be deprived of it in their afterlife, yet their soul will still exist, although it will be incapable of continued growth.) The body is what gets hungry, the soul wishes it could be free from the demands of the body such as eating.

Let me get this straight, you believe that since you had a dream while in a state of perceived psychosis that you have the answers...? If finding truth was as easy as that then it wouldn't be worth looking for.

These reports of a cloned human being born are very disturbing. I'm tending to think it's a hoax and cult propaganda which it hopefully is. Cloning humans at this stage is very unethical. Anyone involved in attempting to illegally clone a human should be hunted down where ever they are and prosecuted to the full extent of the law.

let's get things straight so that there is no debate. either the soul oe ego or whatever is a socially developed phenomenon based on how the enviroment and other people and society affect the brain of the child. Or the soul is actually something installed by God. Well if there is no real souls there is no souls in clones and there perspnalities would have to develop just like any other human(meaning a clone born with a grown up body would be born with the mind of a child) But if there are souls then it is something God installs at the body at birth or before (debatable) if there is no soul in a clone then God would have chosen not to put a soul in that body. If the body still has the youness that people call soul that either means there is no soul or it means that the clone has something that appears to be soul but is not. PEACE

Actually that other thread made me think about that dream. I just related it to everyone else because I always thought it would make a cool movie. Actually, I believe a clone would have a soul because I believe every human being has a soul which was created by G-d. Even though humans may have created the person, G-d still creates the soul. Anyway, the whole concept of a soul is a personal belief, you will never be able to back it up with logic because the soul isn't tangible. I think this whole discussion is getting stupid, regardless of whose thread it is, we've got like 3 of these thread floating around now, yes I know I'm to blame for starting this one. Why don't we change the discussion to: Don't you think my dream would make a badass movie.
