I am researching products in this area... you are right -- there are a lot of products to wade through. You mention two different types of products (the greens drink and Vigor, more of a phytochemical/anti-oxident type supplement). Your green drink has herbals, some veggies, greens, probiotics, and more... and there are a few similar products that look great out there.
Vigor looks like a solid product as well, and I will likely pick some up in the future.
As for now, I picked up a couple of these last month from vitamin world (buy one, get one free) to try them out. One is their Life's Greens product which is similar to the one you listed and the other is their "10 Vegetables" tablets, which is somewhat similar to Vigor. I had the cash handy and the were buy one/get one free so it was kind of and educated impulse purchase.
The greens drink has alfalfa and other grasses, so it is not surprising that it tases like a bale of hay. (To me, this is actually pleasant as I grew up working around hay -- literally tons of hay.)
The veggie tablets are fairly complete and cover a range of phytochemicals, just like Vigor that you mentioned.
I don't think I'll be putting together a fancy breakdown, but (if you remind me as I will forget or lose this thread), I might have a more concise comparison in a few weeks.
Also, I don't feel it's one or the other with these. I take one or two of the "10 Veggies" tabs every day or every other day. The greens drink says not to take for more than 30 days in a row w/o a break. I'm not sure why that is other than it is a probiotic, has royal jelly, and some other stuff in there that I'm not quite sure what it's contributing to...
Hope that helps a bit.
