Protien question for a friend of mine (female)

Well, a friend of mine is trying to get in better shape for the summer. By no means has she ever been out of shape, she just has scrawny arms and legs and wants to tighten up her abs a bit. Shes about 5'9 115-120 pretty slim, model like body. The only real definition shs has is in her abs... ANYWAYS I told her that she should really be getting more protien, because it will help you gain a little bit of mass and help her stay lean. Is there a protien out there that is best for her (she doesnt really lift weights, does a lot of yoga type stuff and ball work). Would old fashioned whey be the WHEY to go(sorry I had to) or would something like soy be better for her?? Any opinions are welcome. THANKS GUYS!(and girls!)

Whey is a good choice to take in after a workout even yoga but if she wants her scrawny arms as you stated she will need a good diet along with good workouts to put that protien into good use. We are women but have the same food and workouts as men do just in smaller quanities especially on the food part..

How much protein does she eat? I would only recommend eating more if she is eating none or a very, very small amount. Most Americans don't need more protein. They need more fiber, whole grains, fruits and vegetables.
