McDonalds Premium Selects
Dont laugh...but i really am curious to know about these new sandwiches from mcdonalds. the new premium selects, apparently they are supposed to be a lot better. the big mac and all those burgers are flat out fat gainers and artery cloggers...but i know guys who work out with me who eat premium selects from mcdonalds 3-4 days a week, and they say its fine for their nutrition, and im like, "mcdonalds food is good for you?"...they say its not too bad, its a healthy alternative.
does anyone know about these new sandwiches?

Because sometimes you just want convenience. How cool do you look when you go to McD's wtih your friends and you pack in tupperware with chicken breast and broccoli. There is only so much chicken boob one person can eat before it starts to repulse you.

Premium Grilled Chicken Classic Sandwich
420 cals
9g fat (2g saturated)
52g carbs
32g protein
1240mg sodium (eek)
http://www.mcdonalds.com/app_control...on.index1.html
Sodium is crazy high, carbs probably aren't the best. I wouldn't eat it every day or anything but it probably won't kill you (as fast as their other stuff at least).

Word,
Okay just to Clarify here we are talking about McDonalds right?? I am also assuming that we know that McDonalds is the Health Mecca of the United States. I am also assuming that you are trying to A. Loose weight, or B. Put on sh%t-tons of muscle. I am assuming as well that you are a very smart man for asking such a diligent question. I am also assuming that I am being very sarcastic.
Keep on keeping on...
Jerry

It's fine. Just make sure you get enough protein and required calories for the day.

You are eating a chicken breast from chickens pumped with antibiotics and fed pieces of dog and cat. Yummy.

If you skip on the bread and sauce it wouldn't be horrible. But I still wouldn't eat McDonalds on a regular basis.

If your going to eat a sandwich at mcdonalds, I believe the one I found to be best was the turkey BLT. The sodium is high as expected but just drink a lot of water with it and you should be fine. If you wanna go eat mcdonalds with ure friends then do it. Dont get mayo and get whole wheat bread. People who tell you no to this are people who are probably competing or trying to cut from 7% to 6% bf. It wont kill you to eat that sandwich once a week, I doubt it would hurt your gains at all. Eat extremely healthy when you can and when you want convience then go for that too.
