Finally a Clean Cookie Recipe (Moist and Chewy)
What you need:
1cup spelt flour
pinch of Bi of Soda
pinch of salt
pinch of baking powder
.25 cup of splenda
4 tbsp of agave syrup or alternatively 2 tbsp of honey (the agave is a good substitute for the brown sugar that makes the cookies chewy)
2-3tbsp water
1/3 cup of Vegetable Margarine (non-hydrogenated) mine has the following ingredients: Sunflower oil, palm oil, coconut oil, water, carrot juice, emulsifier: lecithin, lemon juice, natural flavouring.
Added ingredients:
Shredded Coconut (coconut cookies)
PB (PB Cookies)
70-80% Dark Chocolate (Choc Chip Cookies (they will melt but then will harden again once cooled))
Ginger,Nutmeg, Cinnamon Etc...
Basically the above is a basic recipe and then you can turn them into watever u like...
Mix dry ingredients:
Mix melted margarine and syrup...
mix dry and wet and add the water , they should turn into little moist balls , flatten them onto a greased sheet and bake at 375 for 8-12 mins... makes 8 medium sized cookies or 4 Large Cookies...
Per Medium sized cookies is 140 cals, 15g carbs, 8g fat, 3g protein

That's far from clean.....
If you want to really give it a healthy touch, substitute in apple sauce for the butter...or margerine in this case.

What is wrong with the oils in the margarine that I stated? Non of them are hydrogenated, Sunflower is normally always praised, and Coconut and palm are under-rated. Dont confused the palm oil with palm kernel or trans fats.
Applesauce doesnt make real cookies.
