Cool Jogging With Dumbbells?

Hi,

I recently got back into lifting weights. I am doing 4 days on, 1 day off and including jogging for my cardio each workout day. My question is: I usually do my jogging after my weight lifting. Would there be any benefit or downside to carrying 5-10 lbs dumbbells with me while i run?

I did that for a while, you're gonna feel it in your shoulders and lower arms a lot!!!
