Any UK Sixth Form College students take A Level Music?
Im thinking of taking this up just for something else to do, maybe a lil fun aswell. Anyone here done it? I get a feeling im gonna be talking to a very narrow group of people here.

Hmm A2 student here bro, I know what you mean this is a pretty damn specific question to a minor audience (although loads of people view like guests and don't talk!)
Sos don't take A-level music, but I here its pretty good. Have you got experience in music at gcse etc?

Nahh but I just know alot about music notation and some composition cos I play lots of guitar lol so I thought it might be a little something good to take up.
I'm already at AS Level, onto A2 next year but I was thinking of picking up the music to go along with the A levels I'll already be studying.

i did AS music, it was pretty good fun yeah.. didn't carry on with A2, my mates liked it, but said it can be a bit tedious with all the theory and crap.
i took it as a chill out subject and wish i didn't drop it.

I do ict and that can be pure doss!! Our 6 units (3 from AS 3 from A2) 5 out of 6 are coursework so all you gotta do is a portfolio.
There is quite alot of actual work to do, but in general if you can use a computer it is soooo easy to get an A.
What uni you gonna go to lethal after your A2's next year do u know yet?
I'd probably say then go for the music if you wanna take an extra subject, or ict if your school offer it - AS ict is pi$$ easy!

Sounds good to me bro...what AS subjects you taking at the moment?
I considered Australia for uni - The uni looked amazing but at a HUGE price, everyone was all from Singapore!! Cause they can afford to send people off. The tution fee's were crazy, I thought here was bad but this place
