HerbaLife Please help!

So, I built my fiance's friend from work a new computer.

She informs me that she is going into her own business, as a Herbalife rep.

^I have had a relative who sold "Primerica Financial Services" a friend who sold the "knives/vector/cutco" a friend's dad who sold Amway, and a friend from work who sold Pre-Paid Legal Services.


I of course know that all of these are Multi-Level Marketing Firms.

Im posting here because im curious if any of you have either

1) Sold their products
2) Bought their products
3) Used their products or
4) Know anyone who got ripped off trying to sell their products


I tried my best to just make sure she was clear about her decision, however Im not completely educated on exactly how the selling/distrubting system works for Herbalife, Please post if you have any additional info!

My step-mother-in-law sells for Herbalife. They seem like a decent company with quality products. The biggest downfall is that they are DRASTICALLY over-priced when compared to the same, and much better products that you can buy online. I don't know much about the infrastructure and how it is run however, but I haven't heard any complaints. It seems like they do a lot of educational seminars to really help educate their reps and bring everyone up to speed on the products. But ultimately, anyone familiar with the nutrition industry and the cheaper prices online will unfortunately not purchase from them.
