Dymatize Elite Whey - Cafe Mocha Review
first off, let me begin by saying im a coffee/cappuccino lover. for the last 6 months or so ive gone through nothing but substance chocolate malt and ON rocky road. both are delicious, and mixed together (1 scoop of each) makes a great combination. i finally decided to go with a different brand and flavor and this was my choice after hearing so many good things.
mixibility: 10 out of 10 - what else can i say, mixed great with a shaker cup, no clumps whatsoever.
taste: 10 out of 10 - OMFG, not only was the smell really appealing, but the taste was nothing short of amazing. i got my package today and was so excited that i tried it pre and post workout. before was just mixed with milk. the mocha flavor is dominant and its almost more of a chocolate with a hint of coffee. really delicious. PWO, the whey was mixed with 1 cup barley and fat free vanilla soymilk. this was insanely good!!! i usually sip my drink throughout my workout but saved it for the end because i took 1 sip and wanted to chug the entire thing. this definitely passed all expectations.
price: 10 out of 10 - one of the cheaper econo wheys, cant complain.
nutrition profile: 8 out of 10 - i just wish it were a pure isolate instead of a blend : ( it does contain digestive enzymes though so thats a plus.
i did recieve a sample of nectar cappuccino, so ill be trying that soon and comparing the 2. if its just as good or better, that may be my next purchase. i would go as far to say this is the BEST tasting whey powder ive ever experienced and ive tried many brands/flavors. dymatize does a great job with their flavors. out of all that ive tried, i rate them like this:
1. cafe mocha
2. banana
3. butter cream toffee
4. berry blast
and i really liked the berry blast so thats saying a lot that all these others taste better. i highly recommend dymatize elite whey for an econo whey.
