NO Products Before Aerobic Exercises? Reps!

Is it recommended to take NO products before athletic competitions or practices? i will be going to waterpolo practice tonight and have been having trouble staying awake/being alert/focusing, and was thinking of downing some NOXplode before I left. I am sort of worried that if I get "pumped" (which noxplode hasnt really done for me) i will lose flexibility because my veins will be so full of blood that you can't move as much (aka a pump!) on the other hand, the better transfew of nutrients and water and the caffeine etc. might help me.

anyone know? Reps to good posters!

If you are worried about your focus and mental alertness, I'd suggest taking a supplement such as Focus XT or Neurostim. They would be geared more towards keeping you alert and focused rather than an NO product, which is centered around nutrient transport.

SNS Focus XT
http://www.bodybuilding.com/store/sns/focus.html

"Focus XT's state-of-the-art cutting edge formulation combines precise ratios of active ingredients in order to provide users with a myriad of uses, including a variety of benefits in pertaining to improved mental focus and concentration, anti-stress, and performance enhancement. Focus XT can be used by individuals for a variety of purposes, whether it be by individuals trying to improve their workout or athletic performance, by students wanting to enhance focus, concentration, and productivity at school, by individuals whose job requires optimal mental performance, or others who feel they may benefit from the variety of benefits that Focus XT is reportedly being used for."

SciVation Neurostim+C
http://www.bodybuilding.com/store/sv/nsc.html

"NeuroStim + C™ is scientifically formulated to give you the highest levels of energy, endurance and mental focus while helping you lose fat. NeuroStim + C will help propel you through the most grueling workouts and provide you with optimal energy levels and mental focus throughout the day."

NO supps arent worth taking before competitions. stick with a standard stim like stizm, amp, stim x, or basic caffiene etc.

This question has probably arisen before, but it's pretty interesting. If more red blood flow means more oxygen to skeletal muscle, wouldn't NO products be benificial for endurance related activities?

hmmm

I take an NO product before I run sometimes and it seems to help. I just started doing this so it could of just been by chance and that I felt good on that day. Why don't you just try taking it one day and see what happens? How do u not feel pumped with noxplode, that stuff had me bouncing off walls from all the caffeing but I took more then reccomended most the time. I didnt buy anymore thuogh cuz after workouts id crash.

I guess it depends on how intense the pumps are. It can't feel good running with crucial leg muscle pumps though. Interesting to here other ppl's views though. I guess it would be beneficial.

BUMP! i already had practice, but for future practices. i can't experiment right now because i need to make a good impression with the new coach based upon performance.

just because it has caffeine, doesn't mean you're pumped. in fact, that was the reason i STOPPED taking it. the caffeine was ridiculous, and while I was wired and awake (which is why i said NOXplode over other supplements) i did NOT get a pump. there's a difference between being hyped up on caffeine and getting pumped.

however, i'm asking about ONLY NOXplode. i'm not going to go buy any new supp for this. I'm going to start taking a few grams of creatine before practices, but i'm interested in this.

and if it does work for people, does the enhanced endurance/power outweigh the negative of the limited movement as a result of a pump ?

Thanks!
