Dilemma

This is my birthday weekend, and i celebrated with my dad today, and im going to celebrate it with my mom tomorrow. My concern is the desserts. I already had a slice of rich carrot cake (moderate squareshaped one) with a scoop of ice cream, and tommorrow i have no idea wha ti'll have. I gain fat way before muscle, and even though im trying to bulk, i really have to watch my sugars/carbs or else i will gain fat before i actually put on any weight. even after doing 2 months of 3-day-per-week 5x5 splits and 3 days of cardio each week as well, and eating very clean, i gained some fat. I don't want this to continue, but i also feel liek if i put dessert to the said tomorrow in front of my family and friends i will be condemned, as i ahd been several times.

This morning i ate 1 whole egg with 3 egg whites and 1/4 cup non-sweetened cheerios with a little milk before runningfor about 20 mins, and had 1 full egg and 3 more whites post workout. For a snack i had a serving of lowfat yogurt and a can of chicken, then for lunch an hour and a half later i had a bowl of chicken progresso soup, but didnt eat any more than about half the broth, and my sister pressured me to eat a 100-calorie pack of nabisco thin crisps. 4 hours later i had 2 medium slices of pizza and a couple of hours following i had the cake and ice cream. When i was finished running i wasnt out of breath or sweating, but my heart maintained a faster rate for about 5-10 minutes following. I also drank a gal of water.

One thing im concerned about is that, yesterday was my rest day, and for lunch i had a 6 inch subway blackened steak sandwhich on wheat bread, for dinner i had a small/medium bowl of hamburger helper, and for a night snack i had a half bag of reduced fat popcorn.

I usually don't eat nearly the same way on weekdays as i do the weekends, but i do get atleast 5 days of excercise every week. If i have maybe a normal dinner and a small serving of dessert tomorrow, should i concern? Should i do cardio in the morning?

I didnt think people were this anal about themselves. You will gain some fat when you get bigger, thats just how it is. I'm not saying go out and eat everything fattening in sight, but you will gain some fat no matter what. Work on getting bigger without unnecessarily large fat gain. A little won't kill you, calm down.

After all, eat big to get big.

Don't Sweat it you need days like this to be sane. And at least you arent going out and getting wasted like most which isnt that bad, but its not my cup of tea. So to summarize fun days=sanity.

if its a big party jus take a bowl of desert and keep wwalkin around...leave it somewhere else and hopefully no one will notice

hit the gym hard after ur done...don make such a big deal of it
