Now ADAM & ZMA in it. Will it make me sleepy?

I am thinking about switching over to NOW ADAM which has ZMA in it. The word is that ZMA makes people tired and sleep well. Does the ZMA in the NOW ADAM multi make others tired?

ZMA doesn't make you sleepy, only helps you have a deeper sleep.

Its funny, I've heard zinc competes for absorption with calcium, and its has both in it. Yet, I still have very deep sleep & crazy a$$ dreams from it. I actually quit taking ZMA separately.

good point, i doubt it, the zma is usless, well the zinc is, zinc cant be asorbed properly if calcium is present, which im persuming the multi has calcium, another thing if you have milk with your breakfast, the same goes for that

Correct. ZMA assists your body to fall into a deeper sleep and also helps raise free testosterone in your body.

I've been taking it for two weeks now and I like it.

the magnesium, acts as a sedative, helps unwinde the body, relieve stress, & basacally make you sleepy, a high dose at any one time will have this effect, not spaced out doses,

& of course as you already know its the zinc that boosts test. levels 33%, along with other anabolic hormones, aswell as reducing lactic acid

zinc actually helps with acne, probaly not at a high dose, another thing to remember try having vit c with your zma, this will help asorb the zinc.

you may want to increase your copper intake, when zinc levels are high, copper is depleated from the body

not sure why they put ZMA in a multi, from my understanding, it's supposed to be taken before bed and on an empty stomach to be effective

your absolutly correct, i think they add it in a multi, to apply to people who are less educated on that particular subject, its bad really, i would expect more for now nutrion,

in england, theres a companie called reflex nutrion, very good & honest in my opinion, but however, there weight gainer has zma in it, with a **** load of calcium,

one of their creatines, which they claim runners use, has caffein in it!

it deffently pays to do your research, & use these forums
