Does the Sauna belt really work?

I saw the add for the sauna belt a while ago but today I thought about it. When the models in the add took the belts off, the area was convered in sweat. I also heard that super models have mastered spot reduction by convering the area with saran wrap for extended periods of time. I presume that the area covered by the saran wrap and the sauna belt make the area sweat and thus forcing the area to get rid of stored fat through the sweat. I know this sounds weird but i wanted to get some opinions on why or why not this concept works.

Its all water weight you'll gain it back when drinking water.

If you knew anything about water retention you would know that drinking water help u lose water weight. If you drink water while in a sauna you will lose more. read some articles or sumthing.

Thats very interesting. So u guys are saying that pretty much the weight u lose will be all water. Do u think that any of that water will contain some fat molecules?

i was wondering the same thing , cause i've read that water can increase fat loss

When you sweat you lose water and the associated weight with the water, but sweating has nothing to do with the actual loss of fat tissue. You will just gain the weight back when you rehydrate yourself.

I'm pretty sure there was a class action lawsuit against that company, but I can't find it. It might be under another product name.

Guess that means there isn't a miracle you can strap on your gut and make it vanish. Guess you are actually going to have to do some cardio and watch your calories.
