i have no idea what a "bain marie" is lol
im not talking about heating it up til boiling point. just put it on the stove on very low heat til the oil melts then turn off the flame.
coconut oil melts at 75°F/24°C but its smoking point is 350°F/175°C so just turn off the flame when the oil melts and the oil wont be damaged.
