For/Against Orton/Eddie/Rey Storyline
To represent both sides of the story, there are the reasons to be for the storyline, and reasons to be against it
For:
Entertainment
Cheap heat
Hasn't stopped people before (Big Bossman RIP, Nowinski talking about Maven's mom, etc)
Keep Eddie involved on SD
New side of Rey
Get fans to hate Orton more
Publicity/Hype for No Way Out/WM22
Against:
Eddie passed away three months ago
What do Chavo,Benoit,Vicki,Rey,Dean, etc think of it?
Offensive
Low to say Eddie is in hell, no matter who you are
Usual Creative Team Antics
Orton has no business with Rey anyways
Orton was praying for Eddie on the RAW EG Tribute Show

The whole f*cking thing pisses me off. It's not entertainment, its disgusting. I like the new side of Rey, but sh*t, there are better ways to show it. The fans hated Orton anyway and they used their last ditch method of getting heat FIRST before trying anything else. Keep Eddie on heat in different ways. You don't need to disgrace his life.
He did only pass away three months ago - its still fresh and it is NOT cool. It is beyond offensive and it just shows you...
HOW LITTLE VINCE McMAHON CARES ABOUT EDDIE GUERRERO AND HIS LEGACY.
The creative team sucks more than a vaccuum cleaner, so I'm not surprised they approved this or encouraged it.
You wonder how Vickie, her girls, Chavo, and the bunch feel about this? I'm sure they're hurt, but as for all the employed, I think they're a bunch of f*cking cowards. If you don't like it to the point that it upsets you, tell Vince you hate it. If he fires you, it only makes you shine brighter and look like a bigger person for standing up to the *******. I doubt McMahon would fire one of his biggest stars in Chris Benoit. I also doubt he'd fire Eddie's nephew for complaining. Imagine how bad that would make Vince look. They say any publicity is a good thing? Bullsh*t. Imagine turning on the news and hearing,
'Vince McMahon, WWE Chairman, fires two top stars today for defending a recently deceased wrestler who McMahon insulted."
Ouch, he'd truely look like slim.
Most of all, I wonder how Randy Orton feels about this. Of course he prayed for Eddie, the tribute show wasn't a work like the current storyline is. He's the one stuck with this career killer of a move. Sure, he'll move on and become a face one day and get mad cheers, but this is what he will be known for - like Bret is widely known for the 97 screw job.
McMahon makes me sick. He is behind this, which means he supports it. And if you can support and defend and PROMOTE a star who you tell to say these sick, offensive words too, you really must be the devil.
The whole thing sucks more than Lita.

A bigger person with no job to support their family...also there is no official contract that says that the money from Eddy's merchandise has to go to his family. Vince could yank that deal any time he feels like it.

There's always TNA - less money - but it's still a job. I just find it very hard to believe Vince would actually fire a person because they said they were very hurt by the current storylines and wanted it to end. If enough stars approached him, he couldn't fire them all.
I seriously doubt he would yank the profits from the Eddie merch. He's a bastard of a person, but he's not that sick.

If you feel so strongly about it why do you still watch the product? You want Benoit and Chavo to stand up to Vince and possibly lose their jobs or be demoted to a lower level status but you are not willing to stop watching the product yourself.

At least Benoit has been kept out of it so far, though I belive the Rabid Wolverine would quit rather than participate. I hope Vince does try to get Benoit involved so we see Benoit go to TNA and have Samoa Joe vs Chris Benoit.

Vince or whoever came up with the Eddie story line totally crossed the line. It is in no way entertaining and is totally disrespectful. Why did they even do the Eddie storyline?? It is not even a good story line to begin with.
