I am speechless!
Today I was at my gym and did squats in the rack. (there are two squat racks.) Anyway, I went to the bathroom for like three minutes and when I came out there was this big powerlifter who had taken my squatrack. (had loaded the bar up for 220 to warm up before I went to the bathroom). Anyway he had taken off all weights and taken the bar out and placed a bench there to do lockouts. The other rack was empty and I thought it was an honest mistake because I wasn't at the bar when I was away and he must have thought it was noone who used it so I took the other one and loaded up.
Anyway, my friend approached me after I loaded up the second rack and told me he had said to the guy that the rack was taken and he hadn't bothered listened to my friend and took off the weights and put the bench there anyway. He said "He can take the other rack." not giving a **** it was actually taken! Now if it was a mistake I am not the guy to bitch about it, **** happens. But if you act like this, wtf is wrong in the head with this guy? I was ****ing speechless because I have never encountered the same behaviour before in the gym, ever!
Next time he's there and me and my friend works out, we'll use up both racks and do militaries, squats, rack deads, front squats and all the exercises we can think off to spend loads of time in the racks (well we'd do that anyway but in a single rack and let people work in if they want to). Let's force this guys hand and see what he does. If he want to work in I'll say no but yes to anyone else, if he want to stand in line for when I'm done then I'll say ok and I'll give the rack to the first other person who asks but not to him. I'm gonna mess up this guys workouts so hard it's not even funny. Let him wait until he's cold so he has to rewarmup. But I think he's capable of just walking up to the rack while between sets and take off the weights when I stand there.
What would you do?

im assuming he was one of those guys who is fat, but thinks he's strong and filled with muscle? i would have asked him if your friend said anything to him, and when he said yea, say, well you're a ****ing idiot. but your plan about taking up both squat racks sounds nice

Here is the plan lol....
Load up on baked beans and spinach, and protein shakes and do it so your ass will be in the zone when you arrive (hope he is there squatting in the rack)...
Wait for him to start his set, and go stick your ass right under his nose while he is near parrallel and let some farts rip then walk away lol
This plan can also be used when he is benching by simply sneaking up behind him while he is doing a set and putting your ******* right over his head and letting rip...
If you want to be harsher you could just push him over while he is squatting, or when benching snap his elbow so the weight collapses... Your choice, but what he did was not on, so get this mofo back.

you are an asshole. I hate people like you who think that you can use something, go off to the bathroom halfway though, then come back and expect to still have first shout on it as if you have a special 'reserved' pass. That powerlifter was probably trying to teach you a lesson. Good on him. Next time go for a piss before or after your sets. People can't be expected to wait around for someone they don't even know is using a rack. Asshole.

Just keep puttin him off durin his sets, laugh really loudly with your friend when hes at the hardest part of a set or rep....mess him up that way, that'll piss him off loads, when he comes over to tell you to shut up or ask you why your doing it, just say. " Think this is annoying, imagine how annoying it is when someone takes your rack when theres no need, man its annoyin!!!"
Then laugh as loud as possible.
