Amino's after/before exercise etc..

Ive been reading up on Amino Acids etc.. in raw pill form etc.. and ive read the articles on bb'ing.com etc.. and I really want to ask how many of you use these like before/after workouts and do you use them other times like on offdays or between meals? I have a friend in Israel who is fairly built that takes them and it he claims they do a good job. Id like to know what you guys think? I would think based on what i read that they are good in bulking or trim stages if you infact trim at all. Ive also heard rumors about taking them after you exercise.

You're gonna get the guys on here that are all alpha, saying how they dont spend money on supplements and blah, blah....this is bull****. Most of those people have cupboards full of supps, and they just follow the crowd. I for onelove aminos, and I take them in powder form. It's especially good for morning cardio.

I take Animal Nitro, and I've seen gains in strength and mass since I've added them to my supps. There was a short period of time where I couldn't afford to replenish my stock and my gains slowed quite a bit so I'm a definite believer in aminos.

If you're not anti-AnimalPak and curious... here's their dose directions ( http://animalpak.com/html/sections.cfm?id=55 ):
"When lifting, there is a critical 4-hour anabolic “window of opportunity” that exists. To take advantage of this window, take 1 pack within 30 minutes following resistance training. For even better results, take 2 packs daily – the first immediately before lifting, and the second within 30 minutes after. If you use a post-training protein shake, wait at least another 30-45 minutes after you’ve taken the Animal Nitro pack before drinking your shake. Always take Animal Nitro on an empty stomach, preferably with 8 oz. of grape or other fruit juice."

The best advice I could give you is to try it out, and draw your own conclusions bro.

Umm, yes and no.
Sure there will be some guys saying that they dont use any supps (and there are probably a few that truly dont), but I think youll find the vast majority of people on the exercise forum will simply tell you that supps are not a subsitute for good ol' fashioned blood, sweat and tears in the gym.

I would recommend them definetely for pre/during training and possibly also after if you want to. I use Scivation's XTEND ( http://www.bodybuilding.com/store/sv/xtend.html ) and you can search on the forum and it gets great reviews.
