Sore, Sore, Sore your throat :) Sore throat.
Guys,
Today is my schedule of training (Beginner Routine - Total body workout). I am in my 1.5 months of bodybuilding program.
Yesterday was suppose to be my Cardio but i missed it because of my busy work and family sched. Now, i don't want to miss my training, but i feel that my throat is a bit sore and my body has a different temperature. I am eating a lot (good-food)and drinks plenty of fluid today to prepare my body to the gym but i am confused if i should go or not. My mind is ready, but my body is not.
Should i take this day off or it will help me boost energy and control the virus if i train today. If im not going to train, i was thinking to have a full body massage.
What can you suggest?
Does anyone here experienced going to the gym even if they feel that they have catch a flu? does it turns the sickness away?

agreed, it won't make you feel any better, if anything you will probably end up feeling worse and could increase the duration of your illness so:

It is a long process, it won't happen over night as it is. You can't rush it

Do you have to sit naked in your steam room?

Just wondering. Some people go in there naked. I just go swimming and go in there with my towel and sit there for a while before going onto the shower.

You can do more harm than good when you are sick. It wont hurt you to take a couple days off. If anything after you get better, you are more motivated to hit it hard to make up for lost time. After coming off a short sickness break I always have some very intense WO's.
BTW eat as much good foods as you can, I know its hard with a sore throat. And drink AS MUCH WATER as humanly possible!

Eat ginger. We pick up a kind of ginger candy in the Chinese grocery store. It works wonders.
Seek and find:

Please don't go to the gym sick and infect the rest of us. I've gotten sick from people hacking all over the place.
