very nice
Personally I'm not a fan of teak decks though...too much maintenance. 230k seems a bit steep for a 19 y/o sailboat, even though it does look like it's in great shape and well-maintained.
How many owners has it had?

The teak is what makes these types of boat so special, its alot of hand-work and its of high quality... New boats like this costs $615400+ (US)
My dad has done alot with it and has fixed up alot of the electronic stuff and put in alot of new navigation eq... and so far nobody has said anything about the price, so its just what is should be... not too much, not to low.

let me know how the sale goes when you accept an offer - I like to keep an eye on the sailboat market

I'm not a fan of sailboats. Too much work.
An Ex-friend of mine had a 50 foot bayliner. I can't remember what year and model it was, but it was similar to this:
http://www.bayliner.com/showroom_arc...p?modelid=8270
I was only on it once, and I was pretty drunk the whole weekend, so the details are a bit fuzzy.

I will
Do you have a boat?
Btw: My dad started with a small 24 feet sailboat many years ago, so when he buys a new boat now it will be his fifth boat.. so its not like he started out with a big one...
Sailing is ok... but I've always been a fan of speed too
But if I had the chace I would love to borrow his boat and take my friends out sailing.. but there is no way in HELL (or any other place) that he would let me lol... He loves his boats like a baby and takes really good care of them

Its a very expencive tree sort used on boats and as garden furniture!
Quote:
Teak, common name for a tall, deciduous timber tree, of the verbena family. The tree, which attains a height of about 30 m (about 100 ft), is native to India and the Malay Archipelago and is cultivated in the Philippine Islands and Java. The bluish to white flowers are arranged in terminal panicles, or clusters. The fruit is a drupe.
Because of its durability and strength, teakwood is used throughout the world as lumber in shipbuilding and the construction of furniture; outdoor teak furniture or garden products has been known to resist the attacks of insects and the corrosive effects of weather for hundreds of years. Substitutes for teak, which have been under extensive cultivation because of the increasing demand, are loosely termed teaks. African teak, or African oak, is a hardwood tree of the spurge family.
Scientific classification: The teak tree belongs to the family Verbenaceae. It is classified as Tectona grandis. The African teak, or African oak, is classified as Oldfieldia africana.

It's too late man, we're not friends anymore. Lol jk. 300k boat usually = sign of serious excess income. I can count the number of times I've been on a boat on one hand. Still a nice boat tho. I know a kid who's slated to inherit something like 12-15 million dollars bc his dad was the VP of a very high profile computer company...and he acts perfectly normal, in fact he has established himself well within his own line of work, completely independent of his father's legacy...rich does not have to = spoiled.

lol
Yeah, well my dad is a doctor so he has a nice income. But my parents have brought us up not to be spoiled... ok I'm alittle spoiled sometimes, but again I'm the youngest so thats normal dont you think ... If there is something I really need I can ask my parents for some money, but I really hate doing that, and I earn money myself anyway.
I'm not going to inherit a big fortune or anything, but I'm looking to take medical school myself like my dad, and I really hope I will make it.. I dont have good enough grades to get into med school here in Norway so I'm looking at places like Hungary or something like that... Alot of hard work, but its worth it in the end.

Is this lady sunbathing your mom? If so, not bad. I like the whole stringless (topless?) thing.
