you with the vid, you're effin' gay.
Anyway dry saunas suck and I just don't find them good at all. Steam saunas open all your pores and relax your muscles while dry ones are just hot and nothing more...at least to me.

dry sauna....sweat and less bacteria
wet sauna....sweat and wet and bacteria grows in moist climates

The gym is gold's gym,and one of the things I was looking forward to in joining a gym was a steam room to help my acne and skin, but oh well I'll try it out for a little while and see what happens

Whats the longest any of you guys been in a dry sauna? Me.. 1 hour
Ever tried the shock technique....you stay in the sauna for about 20 min then jump in an ice cold shower for a minute, then jump back in the sauna for another 20 min. Repeat as desired.

I think I'll pass. I hate it when my sack contracts so fast my nuts end up next to my liver.

There isn't much difference between the two. Wet sauna or steam has a much higher moisture content in the air (obviously!) and this reduces the amount of heat your body can lose through sweat, I can't imagine its a big diff though.
IMO sauna's are awesome, I always have a quick 20mins sesh in one chuggin my post workout shake. They raise your core temperature and metabolic rate, I think they also raise the efficiency of certain chemical reactions and enzymes in your body too (as you are pretty much replicating a fever) and increase blood flow - all good things post workout. Just make sure you stay properly hydrated (have your shake and chase it down with lots of water).

If it is a co-ed sauna, then don't get naked. I would have a towel between my naked ass and the seat/bench. Most guys are naked or have a towel around themselves.

Personally I prefer the steam to a sauna - I like the wet heat as it relaxes me more and the dry sauna makes it hard for me to breathe at times (not sure why.)
Both, however, tend to attract a lot of old trolls who seem to want nothing more than to look at your d*ck.

Is it one of those ****ty saunas where you don't throw the water on the rocks. Those sauna's piss me off.
But I like the original Finnish saunas. If you turn down the heat down you can get them nice and steamy but if you push up the heat it will be nice and hot!
I was just in at 85 degrees (centigrade).... I'm a finn so I have the pleasure of a sauna in my own home
