My Nectar Cappuccino Review
After seeing this on there web site I decided to get some and try it out. I have been a coffee lover for along time, so when I heard about a coffee flavored protein I had to try it.
Flavor:
The flavor of this stuff is right on, it taste just like cappuccino. I never thought that a protein could taste so much like coffee. I have tried it both hot and cold and I really like it hot better. But I am not sure if this denatures the protein.
Mixabilty:
The product mixes pretty well just don't mix it and then heat it. Because it boils over and is a giant mess. I recomend that if you are going to heat it you heat the milk or water first and then add the protein. It works alot better that way.
Value:
It is not that bad the suggested retail is high but the place where I got it from had it priced pretty good. But it is more expensive than the other Nectars.
Overall:
It is good for a change I think it is good if you are a coffee addicit like me. It's nice to have in the morning when it's cold out side. I could not drink it more than once a day but for a change it is good. It is different from the other Nectars and has a really good flavor. If you love coffee pick some up and see what you think.

Thanks for the review man I have been looking at this product as well since I am hooked on coffee as well. The idea of drinking protein with cappuccino sounds really good. I also wonder what it will be like if you mix chocolate or vanilla with it would it then be like a mocha or vanilla cappuccino then?

I have mixed plain chocolate protein with coffee before and it is not bad so I could only image what it would taste like mixed with a cappuccino flavored protein.

yeah.. when you add 18g of fat to something, it usually starts to taste pretty damn good.

muscle milk is hardly a bodybuilder's food.
all of their stuff is stuffed with fat to make it taste good.

I image that muscle milks does taste better but for 0 grams of fat and 0 grams of carbs this stuff is pretty damn good. And also I mixed some vanilla with the cappuccino last night and it was not bad but I think the chocolate and cappuccino is better.

Cappuccino flavored protein I don't know if I am down with this or not. Do they give out samples of this like the other flavors? I will have to go to my local store and see if they have any.

Have you ever had VPX's cappuccino flavor to compare it to? I've had VPX's and liked it a lot at first but grew tired of it quite quickly.
