Sunlight?

Here's an idea.

Wonder if working out in the sun has a better affect on your body then in non sunlight. I know the sun affects your circadium rhythms and sleep patterns. So I was wondering if anyone had any thoughts or information on getting sunlight on your body while training, or getting enough sun during the day affecting or not affecting your training.

I'm thinking about experimenting with this concept in the spring by doing all my fullbody bodyweight workouts outside. I live in Pittsburgh and its still pretty cold out there.

I know that your body needs sunlight to produce vitamin D. And I'm sure that sunlight on your body would increase your sense of well-being (endorphins, maybe?).

So yeah, it's certainly not a bad thing.

I tried to get my old gym to set of some free weights in an outside section they owned. Just a couple benches and some dumbells and weights. I think that it would be beneficial to be able to workout in the sun, cus for me It just gives you that extra well being feeling.

Guess I got to go to venice beach for that though, and not Connecticut.

I find that training in the sun seems to feel a lot better for some reason and certain aches and pains don't seem to bother me as much.
