O/T Things that piss me off...

O.K. guys,
got back to my gym tonight, pumped and ready to do an insane chest routine, get through my warmup, hammer out my first set on flat bench db's and i rack 'em and pace waiting for my second set (keep track of time between sets on my mp3, 2 - 2 1/2 min rest). i'm just about to approach the rack and grab my db's for my next set and this old fat f*cker jumps right in front and grabs some sissy ass girl db's and starts doing standing triceps kickbacks, dude doesn't move outta the way or anything, just stands there and does like 15 reps on each arm right in front of the rack where no one can grab any db's! I was like how f*cking rude of this dude, I shrug it off grab my db's after now like a 4 min rest and do my set, rerack ect. as i'm getting ready to grab the next set of db's for my third flat db set fat bastard son of a bitch jumps in front and proceeds with the same sh*t as before. this time i patiently waited for the dude to finish, now like 5 min since my last set and i am PISSED! I try to be as nice as i can as i grab my db's and i say to the guy "nice f*cking gym etiquite man". The guy looks at me with this confused look and reply's "huh?" I just shook my head and did my set. This guy had no idea what i was talking about, no idea he was standing right in the way of anyone who needed the rack, just f*cking clueless to everything and especially any kind of decent routine, as i noticed this guy throuout the rest of my workout would go from machine to machine and do like one half ass set on each. Sorry for the rant, but i was just wondering if any of you guys get tired of putting up with bullsh*t like this at your gym, if i am just being a dickhead about it, and how you guys would've handled the situation, especially with the new year approaching and alot of first timer's sure to enter everyone's sacred gym...

well, I choose to adhere to proper gym etiquite as i so call it, so "excuse me" while this infidel sack of monkey nuts was doing his set was not an option, as i don't want to be distracted in any way whilst i am doing my set, but then again i guess since he was f*cking up my set, option 2 would have been appropriate.

True true. Those types of morons grind my gears. Its dangerous for them to even be in a gym setting. There should be a mandatory gym etiquette class everyone has to take before they can go out on the floor when they join a gym.

And yea, I enjoy hogging the DB rack while doing the gayest excercise possible. I also do abs sitting on your "Bench Press", do curls in the squat rack and stretch right in the middle of the walkway so you have to walk around me every time you go to the water fountain.

maybe he's doing HST. i've had people tell me i need to do more than 1 or 2 sets on each exercise like i have no clue what i'm doing. what looks crazy to one person, may make perfect sense to another. but blocking the rack with his workout is definitely rude.
