Make maximum gains?Taking protein shakes with you??
Listen, dude, bodybuilding is never a 24/7 job. You're making it to be that way.Suppose you have 7 meals a day,but today you have to go out.Do you mean like you can't find any food in where you're going out?I know there are those ****ty burger kings and mcdonalds and stuff, but there are other things too which you can have.
7 meals a day doesn't mean you have to take them all in order. While the first and last meal should not change, the rest 5 can if they have to be.You can take your protein shake in place of your second meal, and have something for the second meal you changed in place of your shake when you're out.Or,if you're really very concerned, take the protein shake with you in a disposable bottle, and drink it and throw the bottle away.
Otherwise,protein bars are fine.

protein bars are useless.....poor quality protein coated in sugar
protein shakes cannot replace meals on a regular basis

Nothing alot of tupperware can't solve. When I was at uni full time two tupperware containers did the job for me.

Why do you think it's so respected to be muscular? Because it's one hell of a journey to get there. All the training, food and rest - not something that the average male can or will do.
Be happy that it's hard and difficult. All good things are.

Bring your own food out in a bag or search around for the most healthiest choice around. Is that too much too ask for ?

Don't let it take over your life.
There should be plenty of places to get food, make your own protein bars (plenty of recipes on this forum) etc etc
Some people may let it take over their life, it's their choice afterall, but think about what you really want to do. Are your friends more important than being big?

It was mentioned once, I'll say it again. Tupperware. Work,College,Friends, my tupperware is always my constant companion. I cook all my meals either the night before, or a couple days in advance. Chicken, rice. It all stores very nicely. Just get used to cold food.
