A bit concerned....

On Fri, I was down to 141.0 and 10.2% bodyfat.

On my Excel chart, my True Metabolic rate, calculated based on my 2-week avg intake and 2-week avg change in rolling avg weight, had presumably downgraded some. I think this was due to the fact I rarely took time off of program and refed.

I decided to do a week-long break. So, I shifted my intake out of "D", diet, mode. I decided to then shift my intake to "R", reverse, on the 1st day of refeed and then shift it to "N", neutral energy balance, for rest of week eating at maybe a very slight surplus. On the first day, in "R" mode, I did an 850 kcal surplus. Rest of days, as I mentioned, were neutral baseline days or slight surpluses.

Here's what happened, though. On a general overview, my bodyweight over that week stayed the same. I thought this was ok. But. my fat% went up by 0.25%! I didn't get it. Of course, I was referencing changes in fat% by the gauge and correcting its results to the caliper readings.

To give detail, here's my chart results:

Today's Results, 12/09/05
MeasuredWgt: 141.8
MeasuredFat%: 11.0!!!
BASE: 3,049
RollAvg: 141.13, 10.47%

So, here's my analysis. My avg intake for week was 3,339 Calories. My weight stayed the same, but my fat%, based on rolling avg, increased by 1/4 percent. On a good note, though, my true metab rate (total OUT) rose again by 250 after refeed week.

On couple days, I did go to the gym and worked my upper body with weights and did an intense cardio session as well. On 12/09/05, I took a rest day. Rest of week, I did a little harder work at my part time job (manual labor) since it was extra busy on some days, so I got some extra resistance exercise in. On most surplus days, I generally keep same diet composition as my diet days except I add the extra Calories as extra protein.

I need to also note before I finish that I also started to base my baseline maintenance Calories based on average OUT for the week. Each day, I put in activity multiplier for the activity level for the day to get total OUT for each individual day and add up Kcal burned for each workout. My daily baseline level is different for each day; 2,500 for lowest activity (sedentary) days and 3,200 for more active days.
I used to just go by each individual day for my OUT's and just subtract/add a certain amount from it for my desired deficit/surplus. Now, more recently, I'm just going by a weekly average of the daily OUT's. Is this ok to do, too?

Overall, are there any worries or concerns?

Can fat% increases show up even though body weight may not increase right away? Or can fat% increase show up first and then body weight increases show up later?
I still wouldn't get why my fat% climbed w/o my weight going up.

Could anyone give analysis of chart results?
