Eating Dinner before bed

Are there any drawbacks to eating dinner before going to bed? The only reason I eat so late is I take a shake at 4pm go home from work, hit the gym at 6-6:30, PWO shake at 7:30 and I'm full till 9:30-10pm. I don't mind eating late and I usually eat any combination of chicken, broccoli, tuna, spinnach, wheat pasta, brown rice, or misc vegatable. I'm primarily concerned if eating late will yeild in fat gains.

For reference my eating schedule looks like this:

7:00 am breakfast
two eggs scrambled
protein shake w/ cup of oats

10-10:30 snack
if i'm hungry of a protein bar or peanuts

12-12:30 lunch
try to eat healthy and high protein, I always get food, never bring it in.

2:30 snack
if i'm hungry (which is rare) I'll get a bannana or peanuts

4:00
protein shake

7:30
post workout shake w/ cup of oats

9:30-10 pm dinner as listed above.

No there's nothing wrong with that, although with me I eat my carbs from the morning and minimize towards the end of the day so I would have vegetables rather than the pasta or rice or whatever. Also Slow digesting protein at that time (before bed) would be usefull i.e. Cottage cheese

Although it really depends how active you are. If you are working out like a maniac carbs should be no problem.

there is nothing wrong with this. as a matter of fact some people do this cause it will make them more hungry for in the morning. Good for people that are not into eatting.

absolutly nothing wrong with that.

Your muscles will pretty much devour that meal since its your pwo meal. Honestly I would try to stay up for another two hours to get another meal in there. But then your cutting into your sleep.

I don't know I just kinda think that nutrition is more important then sleep. BUt I don't get much sleep cause of my schedule.
