test flu after 9 weeks?
I havent found any info that seems related, so im asking for your imput.
I started out a 500mg week test-E and 400mg week deca cycle 9 weeks ago. I bumped the dose to 750 on the test, and ordered my supp for homebrewing my own batch of test so I could not only finish my cycle but take it to 12 weeks. Last thursday was my first shot of "my own" and even though it was at 3% I added 2 drops of BA to the 10ml vial to be safe than sorry. I know 3% was plenty but it seem like the thing to do at the time. Later that night I felt like my leg was gonna fall off and like I had the flu, but with no temp. my leg was slightly red and warm, but this also hapend to me on my first shot in my cycle of Galenika testosteron depo. So yesterday I take my second shot out of another vial that is 3%BA and no more. This morning I wake up and feel like crap all over again, still no temp change, but I hurt all over like iv got the flu.....Anyone else ever change things up and have this happen? Or is it something I did. Alot of info, but just wanted you to know what set this all up. Thanks guys...and on 3 start the FLAMING.. 1...2...3 thanks and reps boys

Yeah, I've never heard of anyone getting the test flu that late in a cycle.
I'm willing to bet the leg pain is from the extra BA, but here's a scenario for you... you wipe the top of your vial off with an alcohol swab and pin the stopper while it still has a good amount of alcohol on in. A bit of that alcohol makes it into your injection and thus the leg pain. This happened to me once or twice with those thicker, sponge like alcohol pads (as opposed to the single sheet ones). They leave alot of alcohol on the stopper after you've wiped it clean.
Still interested in hearing what people have to say about the test flu symptoms at 9 weeks in.

possibly due to the fact that it is winter, and you may actually have a real case of the flu

Does the flu feeling come and go (is it intermittent?), or is it pretty constant?

I cant afford to take another shot and feel this crummy for another 2 or 3 days. Still like to hear other oppionions though, its got me stumped.

Within 6 hrs of takin the shot I start to feel achy (sp) and the chills, but dont get a fever. The spot of injection will be stiff, and slightly red, and also slightly warm. Everything gets better in 2 or 3 days. So far. other than that feel like a million bucks untill after the poke. This is how i felt after my first shot at the begining of the cycle, but never happened again. I figured it was just the test flu that I had read about, and was normal. Is it your bodys reaction to the oil, or to the actual test, or the ester. Does my body not like the new soy oil that I used in this batch?

Wow... that's a tough call. There could be numerous variables that are causing your issues. I'm stumped.

do not stop what you are doing. remember it is flu season and the extra BA will cause some pain. As kroms said, some gets leftover on the rubber and gets injected. I would give it another week, if you have sick time, use some now. If you are truly worried about something from your homebrew then stop but you hate to give up when you only have a few weeks left. hope everything works out for you bro, keep us updated.

Na, I think im gonna go ahead and call it a 10 week cycle, thats what it started out to be anyway. Now if this happens again in 15 weeks, well ill go to plan B. I have learned alot this cycle and plan on makin the next one bang on. Still will take any ideas on whats gon on though.
