PORK SKINS!!!!! ~

Yes... ummm, it's my own original recipie. Sounds horrible but it's absolutely decadent. I'm in the middle of dipping them right now.

This was my first experiment and it's an overwhelming success. But... I'm the only one who has tasted them. I know of no one who has even heard of them. I'm bringing them to my office party on Thursday and fully expect them to flop, therefore leaving more for ME!

They're easy to make - just melt white bark and dip the pork skins in them and let harden on wax paper. You are only allowed to eat on cheat days because they are pure evil. I could only get one down because it was so rich. I thought I'd be able to eat more but thank goodness not!

Just curious - would you sample them if offered and you were able to cheat?

Holy Cow! Okay, maybe it's because we both live in the same area...but I think I would try one if it were there in front of me and it was a cheat day. What made you think to do that?!!!

Actually one of my Christmas traditions is to make white chocolate covered pretzels. One year I tried doing potato chips and oh boy are those good too! I just had a wild idea when I was at the gym and decided to give it a try.

I know it's the WORST possible thing you could possibly eat, but, hey, I'm feeding my co-workers!

After making this batch I learned that it's better to pick small pork rinds since they are SO rich. I may even need to break the larger ones down. Oh, if you're wondering what they taste like, they're similar to the pretzels, except lighter, richer, and a little less salty.

Well, I love chocolate covered pretzels. We are both baking tonight I guess. I am making cupcakes, snowman cookies, and little goody bags for the sick children at the Ronald McDonald House. I love this time of year, I just wish I could bake and not have to try every batch of what I am making.
