Sushi..

I took a brief look back.... So don't crucify me here if this has been talked to death.

Recently been introduced to sushi. I love it! How good is sushi after a workout. I drink my shake.... wait a little while then I like to go eat sushi. The fish is usually salmon and tuna.... maybe some crab and others. but mostly salmon. Any input or links would be appreciated thanks.

Sushi is great PWO because of the white rice.
Dont overuse Soya sauce, way too much sodium.

This place I go has this thing called shaggy dog.... Talkin about the f'in bomb. At first the name scared me.

Spicy salmon
advacado
crab meat on top
with horse radish and some sort of spicy red sauce (just a dab on each piece)
looks like a damn shaggy dog...

Can't wait gotta have some tomorrow!

Shootinstar, that sounds like my kind of sushi treat

Check this out; I have a place in Montana and im up there every other month or so. They have an awesome sushi place there... go figure. They have these rolls called the Montana rolls. It has Teryaki Filet beef with avacodo and some other goodies. ITs seriously amazing.

sushi is one of my favs, if you avoid the mayo rolls then its not a cheat meal, pure protein, omega-3's, you can't beat that.

Just watch the calories, you can eat sushi all night so you have to pace yourself. tuna and salmon are my favs

Talking lifes good

Well had to have some bevore work tonight....

tiger eye- sicy salmon advocado jalapeno cream cheese wrapped in rice ... and of course the shaggy dog!

I don't care for the individual pieces.... It's a texture thing ya know.

Starting out good sushi then home knock off a chunck head to work... Life's good!

Sushi---yeah....great stuff...

When in Japanese place I almost always order sushi. But is there anything else that one can eat and not cheat (or just a little tiny-bit)?

Hahah damn someone found out my pwo meal haha jk

I have been eating sushe after every workout I eat sushi for lunch, I drink my shake then drive 5 minutes to my local sushi place maki yaki. I buy 2 orders of fresh tuna or I will get, some teryaki depends on my mood.

I actually think the fresh tuna rolls are the best for postworkout the fish is fresh no spices nothing and its rolled in white rice and seaweed. I finish it off with cranberry juice.

Thanks, but could you be more specific, please? Like the names of the dishes that you think are relatively 'saint' and taste good.

any of u LA kids need to hit up a place called Yamashiros. Nestled on a hill in Hollywood right above all the action. Its near Chateau Marmont hotel. They have a killer dragon roll. Most romantic dinner ever. And the waiters there are awesome they hooked it up with free apps. since it was our first time. Go when it isnt too crowded like a Sunday evening at sunset.

Man I do good to spell sushi... Stay away from heavy sauces, fried stuff, except maybe fried rice... in moderation of course.
