When does a boy become a real man?
For me, a boy has grown into a man when he accomplishes something under pressure. In many different cross cultures/families a boy must do something to prove to society that he is or has grown into manhood. In some cultures boys will prove this by doing a task; In my friend's culture he is no longer welcome inside his families house when it has passed his 18 bday, therefore he has to prove himself as a man living on his own. So my question to you is, "When exactly does a boy become a man and what are the characteristics of a real man?"

in all seriousness my step-dad told me this once "when a boy kills an animal, cleans it, cooks it and eats it. then learns how to change his own brake pads hes man"

when i was little i did, when my parents were still married my dad got sick of living in a tralier and built a house so my parents got divorced my mom got the house and my step-dad (who was living in a trailer) moved in.
