How long before cravings hit?
How long did before you had cravings?
I have been strict for over 3mo now and have not craved at all. Im wondering if im lucky, eating enough of the right foods, or it just hasnt been long enough yet.
I wonder why my body is not craving bad foods? This is the first time i have ever been on a diet in my life.

i know what you mean, its not that your not craving, i find that i enjoy everything i eat, and its all displaced, what i crave is something that is some food i enjoy, but if you enjoy the healthy food then theres no reason to cheat really, at least thats my opinion on it

That makes sense because i really do love the food im eating, it doesnt even seem like a diet!
The other day i was actually feeling greatful for learning how to eat healthy so when i have kids i can bring them up healthy.
but still, i thought the body goes through cravings when you quickly cut out crappy stuff like a favorite chip, mcdonalds, mac & cheese, etc.

i do most all the cooking in my household. had to quit working out a year ago due to school. i turned to fat fast! This summer i took a phys ed course at the Univ. They ran my ass off.......literally. I nearly 30 lbs. Part of it was the cardio/circuit training they made me do and the other was my eating habits. stopped beer, cut junk and sweets. I started cooking a lot of chinese food as well. low fat, good carb sources and protein. For me it has never really been about cravings. Eating the foods i do, i can eat a good bit and still have a lower caloric count than eating dirty. but once i started back to clean eating, i could tell a big difference in how i felt. i am now to the point, i dont want to cheat on my diet at all. i can tell i did by how i feel afterwards. besides a doughnut takes too long on the treadmill

saturday night i slice and clean 8 chicken breasts (skinless/boneless) and marinate them all in lemon juice and chopped garlic, sometimes i add some sodium free chicken seasoning.
sunday i bake all my chicken so i have it for lunch and dinner for the week. 16 thin cutlets!
i also eat a baked london broil durring the week.
usual sides: brown rice, veggies, ground turkey mixed with veggies and whole wheat wide noodles

Congrat then. You're obviously doing something right.
Cravings aren't really normal. Usually they're from something lacking in the diet or eating certain bad/proccessed food that can trigger cravings. If you were going to get them, you would've gotten them within the first week or so along with "detox" symptoms such as headaches or being more tired than usual.
